One-Day Sessions

Our one-day brew sessions are perfect for locals and daytrippers.  Join us every Sunday to learn all the steps to craft quality microbrews while enjoying light snacks and hor’dourves and relaxing in between pouring the malt and checking the score on the big screen.  It’s a hard life, but someone has to do it.

This brewery experience requires four brewers with a five brewer maximum.  Each brewer may bring one guest that is invited to participate in all aspects of the experience. 

Once you get your group together, just decide what variety of brew you would like to make by choosing from our list of options of options (only one variety per session).

Your session will leave you with excitement as you take your brew home to ferment and await bottling.

When are are these sessions offered?

Our local sessions take place every Sunday from 1:00-6:00 p.m. here at the Toe River Lodge & Blind Squirrel Brewery.

What is included?

Food:

Light hor’deourves upon arrival and dinner to be served at 6:00 p.m. that consists of a variety of casseroles, baked ham, and prime rib from our locally famous Sunday Brunch.

Materials:

Everything you need to bottle/keg your brew will be included in your first session and will not be required for subsequent sessions.

All for the low price of...

1. First Session....... $235 per brewer

This is is a very low price for a quality crafted microbrew.  Factor in $40 for dinner and you are paying $2.00 per pint!

*Payment is due at the time of booking and is 50% refundable up to ONE WEEK prior to your session.

Weekend Brew-making Getaway

A weekend brewery session at the Blind Squirrel & Toe River Lodge gives you the best of all aspects of our intricate operation. 

This brewery experience requires four brewers with a five brewer maximum.  Each brewer may bring one guest that is invited to participate in all aspects of the experience. 

Itinerary

Friday:

Check into one of five bedrooms at our Bed & Breakfast where you can relax until you sit down to enjoy a casual gourmet dinner. 

Saturday:

Breakfast Saturday morning is served family style and includes cuisine inspired from all over the world. 

Lunch will be at 12:30 at the cafe where you can order whatever you like from our menu.

At 1:30 your brew session will begin and will last approximately five hours.  During the five hours you learn all the steps necessary to craft quality microbrews while eating light snacks and hor’deourves, and relaxing in between crafting the brew and checking the score on the big screen.

As your brew session draws to a close you can prepare yourself to enjoy a four course gourmet meal

Sunday:

Sunday is the sleep in day or you could take advantage of some fishing, hiking, biking, or an afternoon adventure on our canopy zip line tour.  Either way you should prepare for an outstanding brunch experience at 10:30 am.

After brunch, we invite you to stay Sunday night on us for free.  If Sunday night doesn’t work for you, then we encourage you to come in one night early on Thursday, also on us.
